Marrisa A. Rose

Associate

Marrisa is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Land Use department. Marrisa helps clients with planning, zoning, entitlements, permitting, and regulatory matters. Along with her work in commercial development, she is passionate about the intersection of community revitalization, affordable housing, equitable education, and eradicating homelessness through intentional land uses practices and engagement.

While in law school, Marrisa was a participating member of the George Washington International Law Review, Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and served as a Dean’s Fellow, teaching first year law students the fundamentals of legal research and writing. Following law school, Marrisa was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Cynthia Callahan in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.

When Marrisa is not working, she enjoys teaching yoga, exploring new restaurants, practicing pilates, and spending quality time with friends and family.
